Harvest Hollow

Harvest Hollow is a farming and life sim that understands the appeal of routine. You plant, tend animals, fix up your plot and get to know the townsfolk. The touch controls are forgiving, and the game autosaves often enough that you never lose a day's work.

What keeps it from feeling grindy is the villager stories. Each neighbour has a small arc you unlock over time, and the seasonal festivals give the calendar some shape. We found ourselves logging in just to check on crops, which is exactly the trap a good sim sets.

It's not reinventing the genre, but it's warm, tidy and well-suited to a phone. A great pick for short daily sessions.
